Day 13

I cheated on my diet today. I ate rice. Yeah, my cheats used to be a bit more, shall I say, delectable, but now they consist of chicken fried rice with low-sodium soy sauce, a bowl of miso soup, and a salad with ginger dressing. Look out!!!

Being that I cheated I felt it only best that I put forth the extra effort during the walk today. The movie? Fight Club. Why? Well, for starters, it's really long. But as for the main course, my inner Tyler Durden is the one pushing me to make the changes I need to make to actually live my life rather than watching it pass me by.

This is a human sacrifice. I have to kill off this old, broken, busted, and disgusted man who brought me so much shame and misery to allow a new me to emerge.

Pain. Yeah, it hurts. Change almost always does. But it hurts so good.

Day 13: 7.25 miles in 2 hours, 25 minutes.
