Day 32

Not a bad day after all. I always say the it's not Friday until 4:30, but this one wasn't so bad after all. The pace at work made time feel like it was flying by. And with the boss away the stress level was significantly lower than usual; though I can't say it's ever really that intense.

Another thing that made my day fly by was the discovery that there is now a production 9 string guitar on the market. It definitely got my attention, especially considering the reasonable price the company is asking for it. I'm still hoping for a 10 string, but clearly things are headed in the right direction. Finally!

The little guy and I are both feeling a bit better. I'm still hacking up my lungs at regular intervals, but I think it'll be over soon.

Today's movie: Supernova. Mindless sci-fi alien artifact B movie with just enough gratuitous fan service to overcome the brutally corny plot.

I kicked up the pace and went for the duration. I hit the 5 mile mark at 81:05. Not bad. If I can kick it up one more tenth of a mile per hour I'll be able to make the Army standard for an alternate pt test. My first goal is to make the 2.5 mile mark in under 36 minutes. The next will be to maintain that pace for a full 5 miles. I know I can do this.

Day 32: 5.5 miles in 90 minutes, including CD.
