Friday at last! No plans for the weekend besides much relaxation and several miles on the treadmill.
Who'd a thunk it, eh? Moi looking forward to exercise.
I can't help it, I'm not even halfway to my goal. I'm still quite the blubber ball. My face seems to be the last bastion of fat resistance too. Well, that and my spare tire.
Yeah I do see the progress. It's a bit hard not to, especially since I've had to drop from size 42 pants to very loose 38s, even some 36s. My shirts are starting to look more like tents than proper work attire. Ask me if I care though. I'm not buying any more clothes until I start looking like I'm wearing charity hand-me-downs.
I am hoping for sooner than later though.
I got "inspired" today. I drew out a solid body electric harp guitar. It is very much a work in progress, but I really like what I'm seeing so far. I am admittedly biased, but hey, I design what I would like to play.
Again though, I'm not sure if I like the instruments or the music more, and I honestly don't know if a harp guitar would be something I'd get in to even if I weren't in the middle of a total dry musical blackout. But hey, it's just a drawing, right?
As if.
I imagine myself playing all different kinds of guitars, but all seven of mine are just sitting there unused in my back room. And, of course, i'm still daydreaming about more.
I've been practically obsessed with the concept of the ten string guitar for so long now that (warning, incoming excuse for my not playing regularly) playing anything else seems utterly uninspiring.
Sometimes, however, it just seems that I get more enjoyment out of playing a video game or watching cheesy sci-fi shows than I do in going through the whole process of getting my rig fired up and ready to play. Even though it sounds divine once it's up and running I lose whatever inclination to play I might have been able to muster by being annoyed at the process of turning everything on.
Yeah, lame, I know.
It's rather annoying being me.
Day 67: 5+ miles in 90 minutes.
Call me guitarded.
