Day 26

The day started out quite well. The guys at the apple store were really cool and helped us get our ipads set up in a matter of seconds. We've been unable to put them down ever since. Yeah, OK, so we spent some cash, but that's what vacations are about, right? Or, you only live twice, or something. OK, truth be told, we're geeks and had to have them. We knew we would the moment we first put our greedy little fingers on one to try it out.

Lunch was amazing! Kona Grill. We absolutely have to go back to that place in the future. Wifey said the sushi was awesome, and her salad went surprisingly well with it. My pad thai was to kill for. Oh, and the potstickers... WOW! OK, so that's another thing you do on vacation: eat. I've been good though. I'm not killing my diet and I'm still walking like I have been these past 25 days.

Compared to that restaurant dinner at Outback felt Ike slumming it. At least my evening meal was more faithful to my diet.....

Heck, I've finally gotten to the point where I'm enjoying it and looking forward to it. The hotel treadmill is so nice that I set it at 3.7 mph and just went for it. I was done with my 3 miles in 48.40. I set a 5 minute CD but still felt like I hadn't dome enough. The issue though was that today the kid was a complete jerk. We decided not to workout together and have his whiny backside bothering us the whole time. I went alone and man was it nice to be away from him for an hour!

I know, I know, he's my kid. How can I talk about him like that? Because I know him, that's why.

Day 26: 3+ miles @ 3.7 mph, plus a 5 minute CD - 54 minutes total.
