Not bad for a last night in town. The food at the cheesecake factory was amazing as usual, and the atmosphere was ideal, with one major exception: our son. Ugh! What a total pain in the backside. He has been a total hellion this week. Even as I write this he is refusing to drink the not so cheap Jamba Juice cold buster shake I bought him. Of course it is delicious, but he just wants to assert himself and refuse to do anything we tell him to do. I think we should leave him in a kennel next time and just bring the dog.
Speaking of whom, he has been great. He did try to get on the table while we were out one day, but otherwise he has been a total joy to be around. Nothing like the last time when we wanted to have him out down.... I guess the boys just have to take turns being complete idiots.
I'm writing this the morning after the walk. It was late last night and Iron Chef America was more interesting than playing with my iPad. I know, I find it hard to believe too. I guess I was tired.
Just like the night before i did a quick 3 miles and hit the CD button to finish it out. I had trouble finding anything to put on the treadmill TV. I ended up watching the last few hands of a poker tournament final. One guy went all in with the weakest hand of the night and I nearly laughed myself off of the treadmill. I had that same feeling people get when watching game shows with moron contestants. It makes you want to scream at the screen.
Anyway, I'm basically typing just to ignore the kid right now, so since I'm done talking I'll go ahead and bring this to a close.
Day 27: 3 miles in 48:40 plus a 5 minute CD.
