What an interesting day. I'm the "acting" supervisor at work while the boss is gone. Ooh... Aah... I'm confident that the guys can tell that I am not the type to get on some kind of power trip. Supervision is a job like any other. Besides, I've done all this before.
Still, even a temporary pseudo-promotion can ruffle some feathers. We'll see. I'm sure everything will be fine.
As far as the weight goes I'm finally starting to see a difference in my appearance. I'm definitely not where I want to be but it's been barely over a month. Even people at work are noticing. It's nice to hear kudos from people. It keeps me energized. Even if no one said anything I'd still be fine because I made the decision to go all the way with this. I'm going to get off of Metformin and I'm going to live a log and healthy, and happy, life, free from diabetes.
I know I can do this.
Today's movie was X-Men. No need to go into a description of that one. I really just picked it because I was taking too long to decide what to watch. It was there so I clicked on it.
I set the speed at 4mph and was able to go a full 4 miles without reducing it. Heck yeah. At that point I dropped it to 3.5 and went another mile. Ultimately I went 6+ miles in 100 minutes, including a decent CD. Not bad at all. I'm really close to goal #1. Progress is awesome.
Wee, it is sleepy time now. I think my wife would like for me to turn off my iPad...
Day 35: 6+ miles in 100 minutes, including CD.
If I can keep up this weight loss rate I'll be under 200 before the new year! Woohoo!!
