Day 38

Another busy day playing Mr. boss man. It can feel a little overwhelming at times, especially when some things should have been explained in a little bit more detail prior to the switchover, but oh well. What can you do?

I'm winging it, but enjoying it.

I got started late on today's walk so I didn't exactly walk a marathon. The movie was Amelie, otherwise known as The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulin. I spent most of the duration properly translating the subtitles. They were pretty bad. I do love the movie though. It's such a good picture of Parisian life. Lord, I miss France sometimes!

No offense to anyone who has never left the States, but to me the grass actually IS greener on the other side of the Atlantic. If there were a way to get back over there I wouldn't hesitate.

Nostalgia aside, I have something else to tend to first: my health. I know the confidence and bravado will return once I'm back at my fighting weight, so first things first.

Day 38: 5.25 miles in 91 minutes, including CD.

Vive la France!!!
