Day 39

So ended week one of my interim supervisory duties at work. It has been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to next week. It will be a bit crazy since we're going to be short-handed, but that can be even more fun than ever. Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment.

I like being busy though. I can't stand sitting at my desk waiting for work to come to me. In fact I usually don't. I have to keep busy or I will go nuts. Well, more nuts....

This week has definitely shown me that my rapport with the guys on the team is pretty solid. We get along quite well. That tends to be the case when communication stays open and no one is preventing them from doing their jobs by inundating them with trivial matters or lengthy discussions about office politics.

Who cares about the politics? The customer? Certainly not!!!

Even though the day went well I was still bushed when it came time to get on the treadmill. I had to reduce the speed st the 3 mile mark, but thankfully I was able to keep it at the slightly reduced speed for another 2.5 miles.

The movie? OSS 117, a French spoof of '60s spy movies. It was well liked by the Netflilx user base, but I found it a bit too stupid, even for an intentionally goofy movie. Of course, after watching Amelie last night, well, what can I say? It had neither heart nor brain.

Oh, and I'm down to 237.5!!!
