The day seemed to fly by today. So much got done so fast this morning that before I knew it lunch time had already crept up on me. At least days like today feel semi-productive and offer some sense of satisfaction.
As far as the walk goes, I did as I said I would and slowed it down a bit. I dropped the speed to 3 mph and went for about 90 minutes, or for the duration of a quirky movie called, Noise. It was an odd one, but I do like Tim Robbins' acting for the most part so I was able to get through it without regretting my selection.
My joints seemed to be thanking me as I walked. It has been a while since I walked at that pace for anything other than a cool-down. Maybe one or tow more days like today and I'll be up for kicking it back in gear. Even though I still went 4.5 miles it still felt Ike a break.
No deep philosophical ideations this evening. Perhaps the milieu in which I'm typing is more suited to, shall I say, matter-of-fact-isms and brevity, most certainly of necessity. Though I will add that Doc Brown did conceive of the flux capacitor in a similar, insert quotation fingers here, laboratory.
I guess necessity is, after all, the mother of invention, though the pun might actually be lost on those who aren't versed in the French or Italian meanings of the word.
Elevators go up, and cigars produce ashes. Vive la France!
Day 42: 4.5 miles in 90 minutes.
Oh, and day 42 slipped right past me without offering any more insight on life, the universe, and everything, than I already had at my disposal. Maybe you simply can't solve any real problems with just potatoes after all.
