Another day, another 5+ miles.
Oh, I almost forgot, the roller coaster is still going, if for no other reason than the fact that we're still here.
Surprised? Nor am I.
Change is a constant, but sometimes it's too minor to detect. I would say trivial, but even the smallest of proverbial pebbles can cause significant ripples in life's pond.
Times like these, however, it seems to require more faith to believe that positive forces exist than to believe that they are at work in our favor.
I acknowledge that a positive attitude can affect one's surroundings, especially considering the monumental influence that environment has over evolutionary processes. Fostering positivity, even feigned and superficial, can set in motion favorable situation mutations.
Some of us need these simple truths explained to us by people we trust implicitly: ourselves.
Day 64: 5+ miles in 90 minutes.
