Day 73

It figures. I start applying for jobs as if my life depend on it, which, to an extent it does, and the doctors my wife works for offer to put her in a higher grade job.

Yeah this time she had to be honest. The truth hurts, especially during the Spanish inquisition, but I don't really expect another one of those to occur any time soon.

I'm on the list for four of them and am still waiting for at least five more to close. At this point I'd probably take the first reasonable offer.

DC would be expensive, but it's very good for the long term, especially financially. San Antonio would be less expensive in the short term, but I can feel already that it would be just another stopover in our continuing journey to nowhere.

I'm not much of a southerner. I like people of other ethicities than mine, I support universal health care, and I'm most definitely not Baptist. I do, however, support the right to bear arms, I hate abortion even though I believe that it is necessary in some cases, and I support the freedom of speech and religion.

But, and it is a big but, I do not believe that hate speech should be protected under the constitution, I know for a fact that an assault rifle is not the best weapon for hunting deer, and I firmly believe that no religious group should ever receive a tax exempt status.

Wow, that's just about the most I've ever written about politics.

Gah! I feel all dirty.

I need a shower!!!

Day 73: 5.2 miles in 90 minutes.
