Mondays don't feel the same when you know you're about to leave.
I may have short-timer's disease, but I still do like to make sure everything is done right. I would hate to leave a bunch of things unfinished. That's just not the way I do business.
I'll be honest, I haven't felt much like walking lately. I think I've been eating too much fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Sure, I burn it all off, but it's not exactly the kind of diet I'd be able to keep up while trying to maintain my target weight once I get there.
I won't consider it a lapse, just a pattern in need of slight adjustments. After all, I've come this far...
The strange thing is that I have yet to feel weird or nervous about the move. I know it's where I'm supposed to be and it's definitely what I want so I really have no reason to feel nervous like I used to.
Change can be good, I guess.
