Day 53

Finally, it's Friday. It actually felt like one too, but not in the sense that 4:30 took way too long to arrive, but more like there wasn't enough time to accomplish all of the things that needed to be done. Days like that are really good to have every once in a while.

I did a bit better on tracking the diet since I picked up the carb tracker app last night. I was right on track today. No guilt, well, at least not about my food intake. Yeah, I had a diet Dew, but that stuff is so good to me that I don't even feel guilty about drinking it. Nyah!

I'm going to try and avoid looking at the scale for a while. I knew I'd get all frustrated the moment my weight fluctuated in the wrong direction. I'm pretty easily frustrated anyway, so I know better than to set traps for myself along the way.

In IT terms, self-inflicted denial of service.

I'll know I'm doing well once my pant size decreases again, and once the comments from my coworkers increases in frequency. Oh, and when the doc says, "good job!"

I only walked for the duration of two episodes again tonight, but hey, it was still five miles. It has to count for something. Doesn't it?

OK, sleepy time.

Day 53: 5 miles in 90 minutes, including CD.
