What. A. Day.
I got 2 job offers for GS-12 positions, and a call for an interview for a third which happens to be a GS-13.
When it rains it pours.
I accepted the 12 in DC. I know it's more expensive to live there, but I know we can manage it just fine. We want access to the best school district in the country for our son, and it won't hurt my long term prospects to work at the Pentagon, to put it mildly.
I thought I was giddy a couple of days ago when I got my new Mesa 4x12 hooked up and jammed for the first time in months.
Not. Even. Close.
I'm beyond ecstatic.
I know I have to wait for all of the paperwork to be processed, but I'm confident that everything will work out swiftly and smoothly.
I'm also still under 220, even with a slight fluctuation. I'm guaranteed to have hit the 50 pound mark definitively by the time I see my doctor next. I could use some official kudos. Unofficial ones are great, but hearing an attaboy from your doctor, well, I can imagine it will be very nice.
Day 80: 5.4 miles in 90 minutes, plus a 3 minute CD.
Giddy.
