Day 85

OK, so I'm REALLY late.

Yesterday was a great day, though we're all feeling a bit under the weather. Temperatures dropped by several degrees over these past few days and it's been wreaking havoc on our systems. My sinuses feel infected, my wife's suffering with a sore throat, and the little guy couldn't stop coughing in his sleep last night.

Ugh.

Of course, the knowledge that we're getting the heck out of here very soon keeps us from getting overly bogged down with anything temporary.

The only thing that has me slightly on edge, and I must emphasize the slightness, is that the friend who sold me the Mesa/Boogie speaker cabinet has now offered to sell me his Mesa/Boogie Roadster amp head for a ridiculously low price.

Instead of worrying about the details of the move, which, I know from experience, never helps, I'm wondering if I'll be able to sell enough of my excess guitars and gear in time to line up enough cash to make the purchase.

Anyone who really knows me, I mean really, knows that this is actually quite typical.

Do I need the amp? Heck no! But do I need legs to do the kind of work that I do? No, but I do like to walk, and they come in handy when I'm trying to catch up to someone who might happen to be faster than I.

Do I want it? Pfft! Keine Scheiße! Pardon my Austrian.

Day 85: 6.4 miles in 100 minutes.
